    2. Balance the resource workload manually with the new features in version 3.11.

Now we offer two animated tutorials to illustrate how to balance the resource workload manually using the new features in version 3.11.

    2.1 Find the over-allocations.

If the Resource\Highlight overallocation menu is selected, the task which has over-allocation will be highlighted in the Gantt Chart. This menu can be use to check whether the resources is over-allocated. If on any resources are over-allocated, AdeptTracker will not highlight any task.

The Resource\Overallocation Filter menu can be used to find the over-allocations too. After selecting this menu, only the task which has over-allocation will be shown on the Gantt Chart.

2.2 Review the assignment information of the tasks which have over-allocation

The Resource\Resource Graph Panel menu can be used to open the Resource Graph Panel window in the Gantt Chart View.

When a task is selected which has over-allocation in the task table, the assignment information will be show in the "Resource Graph Panel" window. If any resource is overallocated, AdeptTracker will mark the part of units which exceeds the availability.

When the user clicks the Resource Graph Panel window, AdeptTracker will highlight the tasks which have allocated the resource at the mouse pointer. When the user double clicks the content area of the Resource Graph Panel window, AdeptTracker will use an internal filter to show the tasks which have allocated the resource at the mouse pointer only on the Gantt Chart.

The title of the Resource Graph Panel window is the name of the resource. When the title is double clicked, AdeptTracker will use the Assign resource to filter the tasks which have allocated the resource only on the Gantt Chart.

    2.3 Resolve over-allocation

To resolve the over-allocation, first double click the title of the "Resource Graph Panel" window to show the tasks which have over-allocation only on Gantt Chart, and select every task and delay the start time respectively.
